Carrying on the concept propounded by the late Ian Welsh, Stains and Traces V will continue to explore work based on “representing the presence or absence of a figure, as well as anthropomorphic echoes and resonances”.

Showcasing some artists that have never exhibited at the gallery before, their work will build on and push forward the tradition of this show, one of Hastings Arts Forum’s most respected exhibitions.
