SoCo Artists is a group of professional artists based in East Sussex. ‘Showcase’ at Hastings Arts Forum is a new venture for the group. From a strong submission, eleven selected artists exhibit a series of work from their current practice. The project and exhibition has been organised and curated by three SoCo artists and a small development grant given to each exhibitor. The resulting exhibition provides the opportunity to ‘showcase’ the strengths and diversity of member’s work, which includes painting, printmaking, mixed media, textiles and three dimensional work including installations.
