Social Media Workshops for Artists

An introduction to Instagram, Twitter and Facebook pages & events for artists. Find out how each social media platform works, what each one is useful for, how to build a following over time and demystify the dreaded hashtag.
Please bring a smartphone, tablet or laptop and a notebook if you like taking hand written notes – sometimes the old methods are best!  You will be setting up accounts/pages on different social media platforms in the workshop, so please bring some digital images of your work/yourself.  Suitable for complete beginners to those already using social media who are in need of a fine tune.

The workshops will be facilitated by Rye based Artist Paula MacArthur, an experienced Painter, Curator, Lecturer and social media genius.
Workshop Dates Tuesday 10th October 10.30am – 12.30pm INSTAGRAM
Tuesday 17th October 10.30am -2pm Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and 1-1 advice sessions after 2pm (bookable in advance)
Tuesday 24th October 10.30am – 12.30pm TWITTER
Tuesday 31st October 10.30am – 12.30pm FACEBOOK
All sessions have a maximum of 6 participants.  All sessions are charged at £12 for non-members and £10 for members, with the exception of the extended session on Tuesday 17th October which will be £22 for non-members and £18 for members, this includes the opportunity to book in for one of four 1-1 sessions.

All sessions include Tea, Coffee and light refreshments.
