Two private views were held on Friday 19 March. “Flux” ,in AF2, is a group of eight Sussex artists, embracing  painting and sculpture. With eight exhibitors there was a large number of supporters from Hastings and further afield. Marika Moore, in AF1, is a former student at the Pestalozzi village in Seddlescombe, now resident in Canada. Marika specially shipped in her exhibition from Canada. Guests galore included Councillor Jeremy Birch, Debbie Martin from the Pestalozzi and a substantial number of Pestalozzi alumni. A seven minute film of the first Pestalozzi Christmas show given by the children of the Pestalozzi in 1961 was shown.

Marika Moore presented one of her paintings to the Pestalozzi as a token of thanks for her early education. This was received by Debbie Martin.
