A big success for The Big draw!

On Saturday and Sunday 22nd & 23rd October Hastings Arts Forum again hosted The Big Draw at the gallery.

The event attracted a large number of eager participants of all ages – particularly families with young children. A number of activities and a variety of media were available for experimentation with experienced artists available to help and support.

Call to artists to submit work for ‘Paperworks’

Hastings Arts Forum are planing an exhibition of artworks on and made from paper this September. From work where paper is used as the means to convey images, be it drawings, prints, paintings and photo works, to the exploration of paper used as a material for making art work from 2D collages to 3D works and installation pieces.

The Big Heart Auction

The Big Heart Auction is an online charity auction in aid of children’s hospice, Chestnut Tree House as well as Brighton Dome and Brighton Festival’s Umbrella Club which provides live art experiences for life-limited children.

On the evening of Friday 15th January Hastings Arts Forum held an open house for local artists and people interested in the arts to highlight both their future plans and the benefits of becoming a member of the Forum.

This event was the result of a review undertaken by the trustees where they re-examined their core aims and objectives and took soundings from current members from which they developed a three year business plan to ensure financial sustainability into the future.
