Volunteers Show. This show has been re-scheduled for Mon 28 Dec and will close on 6 Jan 2010. Re-scheduling is due to the pressure of events at Christmas and availability of voluinteers. There will be a private view on Wed 30 Dec at 6.30.
Calling All Geeks Can’t be separated from your laptop? Bring it along with you on Friday 18th at 6 pm for drinks and nibbles. Show your work (bring it in on disc or memory stick), talk about geeky things such as websites, animation, computer art, databases, anything computational. We’re brainstorming ideas about how computers and the internet can be integrated into the arts forum and the benefits thereof.
Poetry Group. The next readings are at 2 pm on Sat 9 Jan 10 at 2pm (earlier to allow out-of-towners get home before dark.)
Computer Clinic This is a reminder that we have a computer clinic on Saturday mornings between 1000 – 1100, which we hope will encourage members to develop their computer skills and enjoy the potential of our website. It is designed to cater for all levels of expertise.
Forum over the Christmas and New Year holiday season. We hope to keep the Forum open over the holidays. Much will depend on the availability of volunteers. This is a call to all those who can volunteer their services to maintain a schedule for 28 -31 Dec. The Forum will be open as usual 2 – 7 January, when it closes for administrative re-organisation and annual re-furbishment.
The 2010 season opens with a private view for John Fletcher in AF1 and Rod Harman and Geoff Parham in AF2 on Fri 22 Jan 2010. This will be a farewell to Hastings by Rod Harman after decades of teaching in Hastings College.
The Committee. Several members have asked for identification of committee members. Below is a photograph of those attending the recent meeting on 1 Dec.The committee hopes to start publishing a record of its monthly meetings from January 2010, to inform members and make the membership more fully involved.

Volunteers Show. 28Dec – 7 Jan 2010. Dates have been re-scheduled. Volunteers and committee members during 2009 to leave in one or two entries by Mon 28 Dec, latest 2pm. Entries to be collected after 6 Jan 2010. This is a free show to volunteers and committee members by way of the Forum showing its appreciation for their work during the year.
