I have the MA Visual Arts from West Dean College, where I specialised in Tapestry and Textile Arts. I work in woven and embroidered textiles where the focus is on colour. Showing in the Arts Forums exhibitions is a fabulous opportunity to explore a range of ideas and themes.
I am the author of ‘Start to Embroider’ (Search Press).
My latest work is for the Sensing Cultures national project which is funded by the RNIB working with blind and partially sighted people. My work is based in Canterbury where we are using The Beaney and the cathedral for inspiration.
2016 is the 300 year anniversary of the birth of Capability Brown. I am showing my embroidered book ‘Useful work versus Useless Toil’ in the exhibition ‘The Artful Craft of Embroidered Gardens’ at Standen House, East Grinstead. To contact me and to see more of my work please see my website
