Ian Welsh
About me
Ian makes observations of water and has been working on this theme for over 25 years. His paintings use a layering process using acrylic lacquers. Ian has a degree in painting from Chelsea as well as Post Graduate degrees in Printmaking and Sculpture. He was Head of Foundation in Norwich, Head of painting in Bergen, Norway and Head of Printmaking at Chelsea. His work is in public and private collections including the V&A, Barclays Wealth and Deutsche Bank and in internationally including Scandinavia.
